I’m the founder and Managing Director of Activae, an advisory firm working at the intersection of DeepTech and clean technologies. Through Activae, I focus on helping bridge the gap between deep science, real markets, and investment.

I work closely with startups, corporates, and investors on scientific validation, technical due diligence, technology roadmapping, industrial scale-up, and the development of investment theses aligned with planetary boundaries. I also collaborate with ecosystem organisations such as the European Innovation Council, Breakthrough Energy Fellows, and Techleap.

I’ve spent over 20 years working across the full DeepTech journey — from early research to industrial deployment. Before Activae, I was a Partner and Vice President at Boston Consulting Group and held executive roles at CRH. I hold a PhD in Materials Science and Technology (Photonics) from Politecnico di Torino, and I currently work across Europe and Latin America to help turn deep science into real-world impact.
